Why did I call this song Astronaut? There is a street with that name in San Antonio. I was always going passed it... always seeing that sign. They lyric is this sketch about a man tortured by his own dreams. Feeling like he doesn't make God's team. Feeling unloved and unworthy. I came up with this line "You're a soul dancer... do a soul dance" as my own way of saying "get over yourself Chris Taylor! Find joy inside." I don't intentionally mean to be cryptic in my lyrics. I write what makes sense to me and if it paints pictures in your head different than mine - that's fine too.
