I had a dream that two of my favorite singers, both with completely different styles and approaches to their craft, sang on one of my songs. Michele Bunch Palmer, in another life, known as Riki Michele and had solo albums as well as sang for Adam Again. Nadirah X has a speak/sing rap approach that is both spiritual and intellectual in nature. She and I have cowritten lyrics to several songs and this is our latest effort. I wanted to create an acoustic mix of this song with just guitar and vocals, just the basics and yet, it's still so powerful.

There is no argument that these 2 releases were The Call at their best. The reissues sound great but are not technically remastered. Without getting too audio snobby, let's call them sonically enhanced by increasing the output levels. Where this package misses is the lack of liner notes and extra tracks (or demos) that likely exist and wouldn't have impacted the final price or disc space to include them. oldkidd
