A good friend of mind had passed away. I wanted to know her more... spend more time with her. She was always so upbeat and encouraging. She always had this light inside of her. She was the opposite of me - or at least - the way I felt. I was this moody type, insecure and full of doubt in myself. This song was written for her after she passed. To many of you, my lyrics seem vague but to me... they make perfect sense... I get that - and you don't have to get every lyric verbatim. I just want you to capture the spirit in which is was written. One listen doesn't tell the whole tale.
